Rava Upma (Semolina Upma)




                        Easy to prepare and healthy breakfast...

Ingredients:

1 cup roasted rava (semolina)
1 small onion chopped 
1/4 tsp chopped ginger
1/2 tsp chopped green chilly
1 finely chopped carrot
curry leaves
2 cup water
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal (black gram dal)
salt
oil/ghee

Preparation:
  1. Heat oil/ghee in a pan ,splutter mustard seeds and fry urad dal till brown.
  2. Add onion, ginger, green chilly and curry leaves and then saute for few minutes.
  3. Now add the finely chopped carrot ,mix well and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Then add  water and required salt .When the water starts boiling, add 1 cup roasted rava to it with constant stirring  and cook for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
