Paneer Shahi Korma / Kurma


300- 400 gm paneer, cut into cubes
1 1/4-1 1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup cream
2 medium onion, finely chopped
1 big green chilly, chopped
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 piece cinnamon
5 cardamom
1/4 tsp kasri methi
coriander leaves, chopped
salt to taste
1 1/2 tbsp butter

  1. Heat butter in a pan and add crushed cardamom and cinnamon.
  2. Add chopped onions and green chilly and saute well till light brown.
  3. Add turmeric powder and chilli powder and stir well.
  4. Reduce the flame and add cream and milk and mix well.
  5. Add cubed paneer and salt and stir gently. Boil for 5 minutes till the gravy becomes thick.
  6. Add kasuri methi and mix well. Add fresh coriander leaves, mix well and remove from flame.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve...
