Fresh Lemon juice / Naranga Vellam


Ingredients:

2 lemons
3-3 1/2 cup cold water
1/4 cup sugar (or as required to your taste)
a pinch of salt
few ice cubes

Preparation:
  1. Cut the lemons into half . 
  2. In a bowl/ jug, squeeze fresh lemon juice (about 1/4 cup) using lemon squeezer or by your hand.
  3. Add cold water, sugar and salt to this and stir well till the sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Strain the juice and pour it in serving glasses,,Serve chilled with ice cubes....

  1. What can be better than lime juice in summer....i do sometimes add a bit of ginger and mint....
