Ingredients:
1/2 cup toor dal
1 cup jackfruit seeds, peeled and halved
1/2 cup grated coconut
2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 garlic cloves
1 tsp fennel seeds
3 dry red chillies
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
curry leaves
oil
salt
Preparation:
- Grind grated coconut, garlic cloves and fennel seeds to a smooth paste.
- Wash toor dal and jackfruit seeds and pressure cook it adding chilli powder, turmeric powder,salt and enough water.
- Add ground paste along with 1 cup water and boil for few minutes.Switch off the flame and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds, add dry red chillies and curry leaves and fry. Pour this over the curry and serve hot with rice...
